Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Pairden Directory (pairdendirectory.com), operated by Pairden Technologies LLC.

What the directory is

A free list of local businesses and a way to send them a request. Businesses do not pay to be listed. We are not affiliated with any county, city or government agency.

We are not the business

Listed businesses are independent. We do not employ them, check their licenses or insurance, or guarantee their work, prices or availability. Any agreement for work is between you and the business. Check licensing yourself (for example, with the California Contractors State License Board) before hiring.

Quote requests

When you send a request, you agree that we may send it to up to 3 listed businesses so they can contact you about it. We cannot promise any business will respond. Only send accurate information about yourself.

Listings

We try to publish only accurate, verified details, but information can be out of date. Owners can claim and correct a listing for free, and anyone can report an error. We may edit or remove any listing.

A business may pay for a Featured row: one listing at the top of a list page, labeled FEATURED. It is the only paid placement and it never changes what a listing says. Featured and Priority Leads are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe's hosted checkout; cancel anytime from the billing link in your receipt, and your free listing stays. Agreeing to calls, texts or emails is never a condition of buying. VERIFY: subscription and refund terms before the first live charge.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false requests, other people's information, spam, or automated submissions, and do not scrape the site.

Limits

The site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Pairden Technologies LLC is not liable for the work, conduct or pricing of any listed business. VERIFY: limitation-of-liability and governing-law language.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the date of the latest version here.
